THE GIRL WHO DRANK THE MOON                                                                     The book I'm about to review is called '' THE GIRL WHO DRANK THE MOON '' written by Kelly Barnhill. The book tells how Luna, after being raised by a witch named Xan, must figure out how to handle the magical powers she was accidentally given. She must control her powers before it's too late. It was published on 9 august 2016. It won the 2017 Newbery medal.    I have never read books about family, love, sorrow, and judging others without knowing them so this book goes to my favorite booklist.     ·          Who was my favorite character, and why?       My favorite character in this book was the witch named Xan. She was the first character I have ever heard or read about who has the kindest heart, love, and care for other people, especially small children, and animals. One of her kindest acts was how she found a new family for the abandoned childre

“The past and the present are within my field of inquiry, but what a man may do in the future is a hard question to answer.” – (quoted by Sherlock Holmes), The Hound of Baskervilles, by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The Novel begins in the moors at Baskerville Hall and the nearby Gripmen Mire, the terrifying and chilling hound howls for blood haunting Dartmoor in Devonshire. Yet another case, another mystery and another crime to unravel and solve. This case was surely a pen ticking, mind boggling and nail nibbling case but with the world famous detective, Sherlock Holmes and his best acquaintance, Dr.Watson on the run, it felt like a snap of a finger. Of all the novels written by Sir. Arthur Conan Doyle that I have read, this was the most gripping, enthralling, captivating, engrossing and fascinating. I assure you that this novel will give you chills down your spine and goosebumps all over your body. You won’t be able to take your eyes off until the last page is turned over! When I f
